About the Role Your role will be estimating and tendering on projects in the Built environment.You will analyse proposals, specifications, drawings, samples, and related documents, identify requirements and prepare appropriate tenders.You will offer technical and commercial support on projects.Your role will be office based and site visits when required. About You Ideally you will have gained or have an interest in the construction industry.You have a keen interest in Estimating or seeking a career as an Estimator.Someone with an eye for detail and good on computer systems.They will support your career development through mentoring, training, and further academic training (training budget available)Ideally a Relevant Qualification in Construction (HND, BSc etc) This is a trainee/entry position which does not require estimating experience. However, the client would like someone who has a demonstrated interest, passion or history in construction. About the role: The ideal candidate should have proven experience in construction and/or fit-out estimating, with a strong ability to read and understand drawings. We require the following Key Responsibilities and experience Maintain and develop client relationships.Maintain sub-contractor and supplier databases.Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender, and send out RFIs where required.Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon return.
