Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Damage, Credit Hire and Intervention Handler to manage a portfolio of third party and accidental damage claims. As a Damage, Credit Hire and Intervention, you will proactively manage a caseload of claims making liability enquires, handling the AD and TP side of the claim.Location: Carshalton, SurreyWorking hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience What you will be doing:  Proactive management approach to handle an allocation of files, Maintaining strong diary management. Ensuring your portfolio is realistically and accurately reserved in line with best practice and the earliest opportunity and referring those highlighted as exceeding authority. Understand when to utilise external suppliers to ensure the best outcome for the business with minimal claims spend. Maintain own technical knowledge through training. Directly reporting to the Assistant Claims Manager. FNOL management - ensuring all new claims are monitored and handled. Diary and report maintenance. Matching of all post/diary entries. Ensuring that the Claims Manager is fully aware of all issues or complaints. Ensuring that full compliance of our standards is maintained at all times. Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations. Ensure all records and communications with clients are accurately recorded and filed in the correct manner. Person Specification Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR. Must have a minimum of 2 years commercial motor claims experience.
