A respected property and construction consultancy with a long-established reputation in the Cambridge market is seeking an Employers Agent to strengthen its specialist residential team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employers Agent to take ownership of a varied portfolio of affordable housing, regeneration, and private residential developments, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.The successful Employers Agent will be responsible for administering development contracts, coordinating project stakeholders, and ensuring schemes are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations. Working closely with developers, housing associations, consultants, and contractors, you will play a key role in protecting client interests while driving projects through to successful completion.This position is well suited to an Employers Agent who enjoys a client-facing role, thrives in a collaborative consultancy environment, and is looking to progress their career while working on meaningful residential developments across Cambridge.Employers Agent - Key Responsibilities:Acting as Employers Agent across residential and affordable housing developmentsAdministering JCT Design & Build contracts throughout project deliveryChairing project meetings and coordinating communication between all stakeholdersMonitoring programme, quality, risk, and contractual complianceReviewing contractor submissions, payment applications, and project documentationProviding clear commercial and contractual advice to clients from inception to completionEmployers Agent - Candidate Requirements:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related construction disciplinePrevious experience delivering Employers Agent services within a consultancy environmentStrong knowledge of JCT Design & Build contractsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMRICS, MCIOB or working towards professional chartership is desirableOrganised, commercially aware, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneouslyIn Return:£55,000 - £65,000 per annum25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysHybrid and flexible working arrangementsPension schemeProfessional membership fees paidOngoing professional development and career progressionOpportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential developmentsIf you are an Employers Agent considering your career opportunities, then please contact Dan McEvoy at Brandon James.Reference #DM22501Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager / Project Management / Employers Agent / Surveying / Construction / Building Surveyor / MRICS / MICOB / MAPM / FRICS / Contract Administration / Associate Director / Construction Consultancy
