Affiliates and Partnerships Manager
Our client are a fast growth business. They are now looking for an Affiliate and Partnerships Manager to join the team. Role Purpose The Partnerships Manager works within the marketing team to define and execute the business’s partnerships, press and events strategies in order to embed and build strong connections with the industry and community. The post holder will need to have a customer first approach, be passionate about the brand and product and have a hunger to learn and develop in order to drive sales and performance, especially for own and exclusive brands. Main Duties: Brand & Manufacturer Partnerships Full ownership of partnership and 3rd party collaboration strategy and activityDefine the partnership strategy, who the business engage, build relationships with and how in order to support and deliver results for all parties involvedIdentify partnership/collaboration opportunities and foster a directory of partners which the business can collaborate with on campaigns, building strong relationships with themCollaborate with the marketing team to support with the execution of partnership campaigns in order for the agreed campaign to execute as agreed, on time and to the highest standard to achieve results and build long term relationshipsBuild and maintain manufacturer relationshipsCollaborate with manufacturers on quarterly campaigns and activity, maximising the funding secured in order to support themCollaborate and align with the group on global manufacturer relationships, campaigns and activity Affiliates Full ownership of affiliate marketing channel strategy and activityDefine the affiliate marketing strategy and how the channel is utilised to support the wider business strategy and commercial requirementsLead the day to day management and optimisation of the affiliate accountCollaborate with teams across the business to align affiliate marketing with and support their objectivesCollaborate with the global teams with their affiliate accounts to drive group level performanceBuild strong relationships with affiliates, publishers and the network to drive channel performance Influencers & Creators Full ownership of influencer/creator marketing channel strategy and activityDefine influencer/creator strategy, who they engage with, build relationships with and how in order to support and deliver results for all parties involvedBuild strong relationships with influencers/creators to work with on an evergreen or campaign basisActivate and align influencers/creators with business and campaign objectives in order to drive growth and meet commercial requirements Press & PR Full ownership of press and media relationships strategy and activityBuild and manage relationships with media outlets related to the industry and productMaintain close contact and update press and media on the latest corporate, product and service offering newsManage media bookings with press and media outlets in line with business objectives and budgets, ensuring supporting assets and collateral are provided on time Events Full ownership of events strategy and activityDefine the event strategy, which are attended and how they are engaged to maximise the value gained from the attendance in line with budget and commercial requirementsEnsure all events are compliant with event standards, rules, regulations and health & safetyManage the operational side of events, such as break and build, stock, staffing and logisticsEngage with the community at events to strengthen relationships with attendees and customers General Report on events, affiliate, partnership, influencer/creator and press activity and performance, communicating this and insights to stakeholders and the wider businessConduct competitor analysis to achieve a greater understanding of the competitor landscape, together with promoting this awareness within the team and wider businessEnsure all costs are managed in line with budgets and correct communicated with the finance department Job requirements PREFERRED SKILLS Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong team player who can demonstrate collaborative workingStrong analytical skills which promote sound business decisions based on market dataAdaptability - must be able to drive projects through unexpected changes and hurdles with minimal disruptionFull, clean driving license.
