What you'll be responsible for: Provide dedicated administrative support to the MHICS West service in Reading locality, including typing, word processing, filing, and emailing.Be the central point of contact and maintain relationships across the service, assisting the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures and administrative tasks.Ability to plan and prioritise own workload and that of the service on a daily basis, working mainly without supervision and using own initiative.Maintain effective communication across the team, taking phone calls and either directing the caller to the appropriate team member or taking messages as required. To be proactive in dealing with enquiries into the service. Administer all office systems to a high standard, both electronic and hard copy, across the service, ensuring they run smoothly through having well planned and organised administrative systems and processes in place.Efficient and accurate recording of data on all electronic systems, including the use of RiO and Adastra and production of reports and documents for team members. You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust: An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation. You'll have the following skills/experience: Knowledge of administration and/or office proceduresPrevious knowledge or experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment, undertaking administrative dutiesComputer literate with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages including MS Office, Outlook, the internet and databasesGood interpersonal, communication and reporting skillsGood IT skills,Strong organisational and planning skills This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years administration experience.
