This is great opportunity to help the Chief Actuary and Head of pricing expand the offering to a high calibre group of Underwriters through case pricing, building rating tools and portfolio steering. The role is broad but includes:- Creating the best pricing models technology has to offer with the support of some super star actuaries.- Collaborating with the broader business, working closely with underwriters, senior management, finance, claims, business planning and reserving functions.- Huge input into risk selection and market navigation.- Providing case pricing support across various classes of business and building strong relationships with underwriting teams.- Peer-reviewing work for juniors and contributing to business transformation projects.- Staying updated on industry best practices, new initiatives, and regulatory changes.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in both Re/Insurance and develop your market understanding alongside quality actuaries and senior management. Actuarial Project Manager - Pensions We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to work for our Pensions client to take on the delivery and implementation of their Partial Internal Model to ensure compliance with FCA and PRA conduct rules and regulations. Aside from this you will also get the chance to deliver a range of other key finance systems change and actuarial process related projects. Key experience required includes Actuarial project experience, ideally Solvency II or Internal Model related Successful track record managing complex projects through full lifecycle Good understanding of business processes within pensions or insurance Knowledge of regulatory compliance and PRA / FCA conduct requirements The role involves 3 days a week in the office in Buckinghamshire and offers a competitive salary up to £80k + bonus + benefits
