REED are exclusively working with a Bournemouth based family Construction business, recruiting a Credit Controller to work within a small and friendly team. The company are supportive, have a genuine warmth to the business and operate multi branch site with the head office in Bournemouth. Please see details below: Credit Controller / Accounts Administrator Full Time: 9am - 5pm (Office Based) - Free, onsite parking available Salary - up to £25,000 Duties: Process and allocate receipts for Bacs & ChequesTake payments over the phone & process card payments on the PDQ machine and on the in-house system (shortly we will be switching to on-line payments)Reconcile unallocated cashCredit check new applications & requests for credit limit increases using Experian / Top ServiceOpen new accountsChase overdue accounts by telephone/email (Currently approximately 500-600 per month per person)Answer incoming calls from Branches & CustomersUpdate and maintain notes on the system when a customer or branch callsMaintain accurate records of all chasing activityEnsure debts are paid in-line with the credit control collection timetableMonitor Credit Control mailboxChange addresses, telephone & and account settings when requiredLiaise with all branches/branch managers to resolve disputesHousekeeping manual / computer Requirements: Must have experience in Credit Control or have good telephone skills to learnBe methodical, have good attention to detail and able to multi taskMust have knowledge of Excel & WordBe able to work and support team members and use on own initiativeGood admin skills and able to work quickly, efficiently and effectively.
