They are looking to recruit an accountant to join their small team. The Financial Accountant will focus on various aspects of the function including reporting, management accounts, analysis and reconciliations. This is a hands-on role and will be perfect for an individual who wants full exposure to the various tasks but also enjoys being involved in the details. Duties include: Monthly reconciliation between CRM and NetSuiteReview and approve purchase orders and invoices for accuracySupporting Revenue Recognition, including accrued, and deferred revenue reconciliationsSupporting the FC with month-end support including balance sheet reconciliation for all accountsManage Fixed Asset registerPreparation of the management reporting packVAT returns You will be an accountant who has worked ideally in a technology-focused company. You will have gained good all-round exposure, have worked in hands-on roles and be happy helping junior members of staff with the routine responsibilities when required. You will be happy working in a small team and can build relationships across the business.

• Assist with preparation of annual budget (agreed with CEO) • Assist with preparation of annual report and accounts(to be presented by CEO) • All accountsfunctions including sales & purchase ledgers, invoicing and credit control • Company annual report and accountsforsubmission to Companies House and AGM • Maintenance of Companies House records • Expenses and payroll processes • Responsible for individual pension plans • Medical insurances • Balance sheet reconciliation • Liaising with external auditors and maintain strong professional relationships • Quarterly VAT returns • Month-end accounting, including posting weekly trading to P&L and balance sheet. • Accruals, prepayment journals and management accounting • Reporting businessturnover to CEO • Contributing to the maintenance of a strong control environment and ensuring a full audit trail is recorded and maintained at all times • Escalating potential risks in a timely manner. • Preparing yearly Statutory accounts and Tax calculation,respecting deadlines •Fixed assets accounting,reconciliations and depreciation journals • Making recommendations directly to the Chief Executive Officer
