Statera Talent are currently partnered with a Bournemouth based accounting business to assist them with two new hires for accountants to work with their extensive client base including retail, hospitality, engineering, manufacturing, service-based companies, charities, and schools. The company is well respected in the area and has been well established over many decades. Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements using accounting software Bookkeeping and payroll management Quarterly VAT return preparation General accounting and finance tasks Conducting client meetings Addressing tax planning and business advisory matters Qualifications Proven experience in preparing financial statements, bookkeeping, and reconciliations Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage, Quickbooks, and Xero Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, potentially in a managerial role Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software Experience with IRIS is preferred but not essential Minimum of two years' practice experience is essential Role Details The position will be office-based during the initial 3 month probation period.
