Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions. The accountant will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation and supporting financial decision-making. Accountant with the following primary responsibilities: Responsibilities · Reviewing outputs from the accounting system (Accounts IQ) and time/billing system (Mavenlink) to aid reconciliation and alignment of both systems. · Ensuring processes and controls are monitored and updated with maintenance of financial systems · Complete transactional accounting function · Responsible for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable · Management of account reconciliations, general ledger analysis and balance sheet recons. · Help in preparation of monthly Management Accounts Pack for group entities in a timely manner · Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and other journals as required. · Assisting in preparation of Group Annual Budget, Forecasts and Business Plans. · Assisting with statutory and audit requirements are met and schedules for auditors · Ad-hoc projects for CFO Qualifications: · A fully or part qualified Finance Professional (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) · Experience working within a small-medium sized entity/business as an accountant, experience in the consulting industry desirable but not essential. · Proven experience in accounting for at least 3 to 5 years · Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills, be comfortable in an environment with large amounts of data · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. · Good communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Candidates must be UK-based, eligible to work in UK Immediate availability would be an advantage.
