Management Accountant
The RoleWe’re working with a well-established and growing organisation seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a key role providing high-quality financial reporting, insight, and commercial support to drive informed decision-making across the business.You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, helping to analyse performance, improve processes, and support strategic initiatives. This opportunity can pay from £50,000-£60,000 and offers hybrid working of 3 days from office to 2 days in the home.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial ReportingPrepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs)Support month-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with relevant accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS)Cash Flow & ControlsAssist with cash flow forecasting and working capital managementMaintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, Corporation Tax, CIS)Support year-end audit and statutory reporting processesBudgeting & ForecastingAssist in budgeting and periodic forecasting cyclesProvide detailed financial analysis and commentary on business performanceDevelop financial models for business cases, scenario planning, and commercial decision-makingBusiness Partnering & StrategyCollaborate with operational teams to drive financial understandingAnalyse costs and identify opportunities for efficienciesSupport senior leadership with insights and ad hoc analysisContribute to process improvements and wider finance projectsAbout YouFully qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar roleStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearlyAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with multiple data sourcesConfident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholdersHigh attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetExperience with ERP/accounting systems (IFS highly desirable)What’s on OfferOpportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking organisationExposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision-makingSupportive team environment with opportunities for developmentCompetitive salary (£50,000-£60,000)If you're a motivated finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic business, we’d love to hear from you.
