Key Responsibilities Your daily tasks as a Management Accountant will include: Preparing monthly management accounts, including Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, prepayment journal, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.Assisting the Financial Controller with annual accounts for statutory audits.Helping stakeholders understand their Profit & Loss statements and other financial data.Managing day-to-day financial queries.Preparing Weekly and Monthly OPW Payroll.Providing financial support to the business development team.Participating in the annual budget process.Overseeing cost control and business analysis.Leading and supporting the Accounts team.Ensuring the accuracy of the accounts database.Producing and analysing monthly management information.Providing insights for ad hoc reporting.Identifying opportunities for profit improvement within client accounts. Our client, an impressive operation with a strong market share of a competitive sector, is looking to hire a credible and astute Management Accountant to join its talented team on an initial interim basis. This is 3 months initially, as they are keen for an immediate start, but there is a high probability of permanent employment, should the successful candidate fit well with the team. As a Management Accountant you will play a crucial role in the financial operations. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, management and financial reporting, and providing insightful support to the business.
