**Job Description:**
Career Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our team in Sheffield for a maternity cover position starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal development, and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Responsibilities:**
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in accordance with the Year 6 curriculum.
- Prepare students for national assessments and examinations, providing targeted support and guidance as needed.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents to support their learning journey.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of students and promote a positive school culture.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.

**Skills and Qualifications:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum, preferably in Year 6.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively teach a range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and humanities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to professional development and continuous improvement.
