Role: Year 3 Learning Support Assistant Location: Dukinfield, Tameside Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to the Year 3 class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  2. Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  3. Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  4. Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum.
  5. Collaborate with the teacher to plan and prepare resources for lessons and activities.
  6. Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to facilitate students' personal and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting preferred.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is desirable.
