Year 3 Teacher - Preston

Your new company
Hays are recruiting on behalf of a mainstream, two form entry primary school in Preston, Lancashire. The school are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. The school is rated OFSTED Good and has an excellent reputation locally. The school is conveniently located and accessible via car or public transport.
Your new role
This role is full-time, 5 days per week on a long-term temporary basis. Responsibilities will include:

• Lesson planning and classroom preparation
• Delivering engaging lessons
• Assessment and marking
• Attending staff meetings
• Managing pupil behaviour

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have a passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference. Please apply if you have obtained, or are working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Recent teaching experience (including training placements) is essential, preferably within the last 3 years.
If you aren't a qualified Teacher, but have recent experience working with children, we may have other roles available for you. Upon application we will contact you to discuss this further.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a generous rate of pay (scaling with experience). Your daily rate of pay will be in the region of £100 for ECT's or £135 for experienced teachers. As a Hays teacher you will also receive ongoing guidance from a Hays education consultant, with local market expertise; your consultant will offer confidential career advice where necessary.
