Workshop Manager

Up to £35000 DOE

Minera, near Wrexham

Are you an experienced Joiner looking for a rewarding opportunity in a thriving Timber Frame Joinery Workshop?

Salary: Up to £35k (Experience and position-dependent) + Annual Performance Bonus

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (flexible options available)

Holidays: 30 or 31 days per year (including Bank Holidays), with Christmas & Easter shutdowns

  • Using industrial joinery tools
  • Supervising/training a small team
  • Reading plans & drawings
  • Stock management & planning
  • Site installations & troubleshooting

Managerial Opportunities:

  • Attend meetings & contribute
  • Liaise with clients/architects/builders
  • Innovate solutions for design/manufacture issues

Opportunity to Grow:

  • Bring Timber Frame industry expertise

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Joiner/Carpenter qualification preferred
  • Forklift driving qualification desirable
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required
  • Prior experience in timber joinery/manufacturing essential

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in Timber Frame workshop/factory or similar joinery environment
  • Physical work experience with a willingness to transition into a more supervisory role
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
