Wiring Assembler

To form part of our hand assembly facility specialising in surface mount and through

hole soldering. Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry required, including

familiarisation with component identification, wiring, wiring looms and colour coding.

Main Duties

• Relying on effectiveness and co-operation of other team members and colleagues in the Hand Assembly dept

• Fluctuations in workload

• Product specific test procedures

• Comply with Company policies and procedures

• Health and Safety policies and procedures

• Working to Quality assurance standards - ISO9001

• Through hole component soldering and assembly

• Surface mount component soldering and assembly

• Component identification/colour codes, etc

• Working to drawings

• Wiring assembly

Skills And Qualifications

• Practical experience for each skill soldering, wiring, assembly

• Practical experience in electronics manufacture

• General PCB handling

• Qualification in electronics preferred but not essential

Working Hours

• 08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri, 30 min lunch

• Fri 08:00-14:00, mid-morning break only.

This is a temporary position with a view to the position going to a permanent position
