Summary Due to the growth of weddings at Tattershall Castle, we're seeking a Wedding Co-ordinator to join our team. You'll be responsible for co-ordinating and executing all aspects of weddings, ensuring that each event is a memorable and seamless experience for our couples. What it's like to work here Tattershall Castle is open to visitors from February through to October, the tower and grounds provide a beautiful backdrop for weddings and programmed events. Reporting to the Senior Visitor Experience Officer, you'll join a small team, and you'll be play an active role is ensuring that our collective vision to make everyone feel welcome at Tattershall Castle is achieved. As the role delivers weddings and events, regular weekend working will be required.  What you'll be doing As the Wedding Co-ordinator, you'll provide exceptional customer service to our couples throughout the planning process by collaborating with couples to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding. You'll manage aspects of the wedding day, including liaising with suppliers and managing volunteers to support with the weddings. On the day you'll support the setup, drinks reception and breakdown of the wedding ceremony room and handle any last-minute changes or emergencies that may arise on the day. When weddings are not taking place, you'll also support the Senior Visitor Experience Officer on event days that take place at Tattershall Castle, ensuring that our visitors have a memorable day exploring our wonderful place. This role is all about providing excellent customer service. To be fantastic in this role, you’ll need:

  • a flexible customer focused approach with experience in delivering high standards of customer service
  • good people skills, enabling good working relationships with those in the across the property
  • outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with couples, suppliers, and volunteers
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks successfully 
  • excellent time management skills to ensure smooth execution of weddings
