Weddings and Events Supervisor

Location: Wokingham

Our award-winning client is looking for a dynamic Weddings and Events Supervisor to support the Food and Beverage team on a full-time permanent basis. As Weddings and Events Supervisor, you will have positive energy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for service excellence.

This role is 45 hours a week over the space of 5 days including weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the operation of all conferencing, weddings and banqueting on site
  • Assisting the conference and banqueting team in delivering a first class service at all events
  • The set up and tear down of all event rooms in line with function requirements
  • Meeting and greeting clients to build and develop a lasting relationship
  • Working in line with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from time of enquiry to time of leaving

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in events management role, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience Using OPERA will be a benefit but not necessary
