The Website Manager is responsible for developing our website strategy to grow our online presence and performance in line with business objectives.

You will lead a team to plan and develop our website capabilities, managing digital content and assets, while maintaining an optimum customer journey.

Manage the content across all websites to ensure it aligns with business objectives and resonates with customers.

They work closely with the Digital team and other colleagues to provide website expertise and support in line with organisational strategy, departmental goals, internal policies, legislation, and regulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of our website strategy, leading key projects and initiatives focused on enhancing our capabilities and performance.
  • Lead and oversee the planning and prioritisation of website projects and requests across the team to ensure we deliver on requirements within agreed timescales. Ensure our internal briefing process is setup to delivery team efficiencies.
  • Embed a culture for continuous evaluation of performance to inform improvements related to digital experience, functionality, and features across all our websites and app. Work closely with product owners, UX and marketing to create seamless, user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Ownership of development and implementation of our SEO strategy, primarily focused on ensuring all onsite elements are optimised to provide an accessible and visible website.
  • Ownership of website content, updating the website via CMS to ensure content and assets remain accurate, optimised and relevant to the audience across all devices and screen sizes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of website management and UX best practice.
  • Experience of working within regulatory and brand compliance
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively with stakeholders from different disciplines and seniority levels across the business.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-pressure environment where multitasking, thoroughness and prioritisation is essential.
  • Experience of working with CMS and other website management tools - experience of migrating to new technologies is also desirable.
  • Experience of building and optimising customer journeys
