Join Our Operations Team: Warehouse Supervisor Needed at Store Support Centre!

Are you experienced in managing a bustling warehouse environment and ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? Heron Foods is seeking a proactive and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our dynamic warehouse operations. This pivotal role involves managing team performance and ensuring the seamless execution of the picking operation across all chambers. You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager, ensuring our team is well-coordinated and our stock is perfectly prepped for dispatch.

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Heron Foods, you will not only manage, but actively participate in warehouse operations, ensuring all processes from staffing to safety are executed to the highest standards. Supported by management, you will engage in continuous improvement projects, embodying the leadership that drives our operations forward.

This role is working on a rotating shift pattern, working every other weekend, on 10pm – 6am shifts.

Essential Skills and Experience for Warehouse Supervisor:

• Proven experience in warehouse management and team leadership is essential
• Strong ability to manage KPIs and improve operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conducting training and safety briefings effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bespoke warehouse management systems
• Flexibility to work across various functions and manage multiple tasks
• Manual handling capability and familiarity with warehouse operational equipment
