Warehouse Operative

Urban Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operative to play a crucial role in our expanding operations.

Location: Newbury, Berkshire

Base Salary: £12.50 per hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full time – Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, overtime will be required during busy periods

Starting Date: May 2024

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Operative - Key Responsibilities:

- Checking and booking in deliveries

- Pick and pack accurately and efficiently to fulfil orders within specified timeframes

- Prepare and dispatch outbound shipments using appropriate carriers

- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency

- Complete and maintain accurate records of all transactions

Warehouse Operative – You:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre role is desirable but not essential

- Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

- Proactive and able to take initiative to solve problems

- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems
