Warehouse Operative, Hitchin

£23,500 DOE

The warehouse operative will take responsibility for managing the inbound and outbound operation processes and systems that keep the supply chain flowing effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities: -

  • Control the stock of shipping supplies.
  • Processing orders and planning the dispatching of goods ensuring that the processes are completed as per the agreed KPI’s.
  • Maintain warehouse admin function (Protean, Excel, Dispatcher, DPD, Outlook)
  • Ensure that weekly audit of dispatch areas is completed.
  • Liaise with the team, engineers and transport companies when required.
  • Make sure inventories are accurate.
  • Maintain 'no goods on the floor’ policy.
  • Maintain a daily stock check.

Key KPIs

  • Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy as per the agreed standards.
  • Ensure the spare parts and machine stock is stored as per the agreed LEAN standards.
  • Ensure all stock issues, picking, goods receiving and other WH processes are completed by agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure all courier shipments are dispatched as per the schedule.

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

28 days holiday plus bank holidays
