Warehouse Operative

Job type: Temporary - Ongoing

Location: Trafford Park, M17 1QD

Shifts:

Days: 0600 - 1400 / 1400 - 2200 (Monday to Friday)

Nights: 2200 - 0600 (Sunday to Thursday)

Pay Rate:

Day shift: £12.68 per hour

Night Shift: £13.79 per hour

Overtime Rate: Overtime day shift: 16.55 per hour, night shift: 22.06 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing products in a fast paced distribution environment
• Checking documentation to ensure that product is packed in line with customer specifications
• Completing Health & Safety checks in line with company procedure
• Identifying, highlighting and escalating any product issues (including damaged or missing items) by following the site procedures and reporting to the team leader
• Delivering and maintaining both individual and team targets to satisfy customer demand
• Ensure all working processes conform to current quality standards
• Manual handling

Required qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or similar is desirable but not essential
• High attention to detail
• Manual dexterity
• Close inspection is a requirement to the day to day role
• Good team working and communication skills
• Good written and spoken English and basic numeracy skills
