Role Profile

We are recruiting for our client, who is an established & growing business with multiple locations across the UK. Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will oversee a warehouse team and ensure day to day KPI's are met. You will work Monday to Friday day shift, with some flexibility required in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain efficient productivity across the Warehouse function, ensuring all KPI's are adhered to.
• Execute daily workload including labour resource planning and collaborate with stock control team.
• Liaise with relevant customer base including virtual and face to face meetings to update on progress.
• Promote safety-first culture across the Warehouse function and engage with H&S team to address any issues.
• Collaborate with other Warehouse Managers in the network to share best practice and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage people challenges including disciplinaries, absence management, RTW's.
• Maintain WMS, ensuring data is accurate and invoices to customers are raised appropriately.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Warehouse management role, with history of leading teams and developing people.
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Experience using various WMS and optimising system usage.
• Background working in a 3PL/ customer-facing environment would be highly advantageous.
• High attention to detail with focus on quality of work.
• Ability to work in a high-pressured, fast paced environment with changing priorities.
