Warehouse Manager

Are you an experienced dynamic and progressive Warehouse Manager, keen to work in a successful, modern setting and looking for your next challenge? This role will have the usual people operations and management elements but with additional project management challenges (initially the new ERP system implementation) Your team will include - Warehouse Supervisor, Stock Control Manager, 3 x Team Leaders and 15 Operatives.

Salary with be £40-45k DOE, Company Profit Related Bonus plus 25 days holidays, Pension Scheme etc

Hours of work - 8am - 5pm

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

- Day-to-day line management, support and team development - overseeing stock control, goods in, order picking, order packing and dispatch

- Continuous improvement of processes and SOPs

- Liaising with and ensuring a great relationship with all internal and external suppliers and stakeholders

- Leading the H & S for the Warehouse, including ongoing training and overseeing implementation

- Driving customer excellence and continuous improvement

- HR experience - 121’s, probation meetings, disciplinaries, PIPs, back to works etc

ABOUT YOU

- A natural leader, someone who prefers to be on the floor rather than behind the desk (projects permitting!)

- Leads by example, approachable, with a natural ability to get the team working together cohesively

- H & S experience - ideally NEBOSH qualified

- ERP/MRP savvy
