Warehouse Assistant

Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Milton Keynes branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

As our Warehouse Assistant, you will help provide excellent service to our customers. You will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, occasionally providing support with ad-hoc driving duties.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Assistant will include:

• Picking and checking orders.
• Serving customers on the trade counter.
• Assisting with stock control.
• Receiving goods and deliveries.
• Completing deliveries and collections as required.
• Supporting the office with phone and email enquiries on an ad-hoc basis.
• Ensuring vending machines are fully stocked at both branches and customer locations by managing inventory levels and making site visits for delivery and loading.

Skills & attributes we're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant:

• Clean driving licence.
• FLT licence is desirable, however, not essential as training can be provided.
• Customer-focused, driven to provide consistently high levels of service. 
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Good level of communication and numerical skills.
