Here at Kingston College are now seeking a Vocational Skills Assessor to facilitate the effective and efficient practical and theoretical assessment of learners, as well as the development of their commercial, employability and enterprise skills.

Supporting students to find appropriate placements, you will assess and monitor learners on the T Level programmes, as well as on Level 1, 2 and Level 3 programmes across the School (including Health & Social Care, Health & Wellbeing). You will support students with a portfolio of evidence and liaise with Tutors to support students’ success. You will also ensure the practical rooms are kept stocked, maintained and the safe storage of equipment is completed on a daily basis.

We’re looking for someone who holds relevant Health qualifications and who has recent experience within the Health industry. You will have excellent communication skills, strong literacy and numeracy skills and hold a professional qualification with a reputed awarding body, recognised TDLB Assessor Award or TDLB new A1 Award for Assessors. You will also have recent assessing experience and have e-portfolio assessment skills.

Please note that this post is funded for the 2024/25 academic year so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2024.
