Job Title: Videographer 
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne – Hybrid Working 
Salary: £25-30k depending on experience. 
  
Our client is a world-wide leader in retail, looking to hire a Videographer and Editor, who can take its video content to a whole new level.  

You'll be part of a Global Marketing department, working together to create a range of beautiful content that tells the story of our brand and our products across a variety of channels, including social (organic and paid), website and more.  

We're looking for a talented, self-shooting Videographer with strong editing skills and experience filming both in a studio and on location. We would love you to have strong motion graphics experience, bringing to life the brand identity through the use of well-considered graphics that elevate the final edit.  
You'll be capable of taking a brief and working through the production process and managing execution methods/camera techniques/lighting.  

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful video storyteller that pushes boundaries with an extensive background in hands on production and post-production. 

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for shooting and editing social-first campaigns. Bring relevant industry and creative references to the concept and shoot execution.  
  • Be a first-class camera operator. 
  • Edit independently, bringing new creative ideas to each project.  
  • Project manage your delivery deadlines from pre to post-production, including storyboarding, filming and post-editing.  
  • Excellent technical knowledge of using professional cameras and industry equipment for both shooting video for Hi-Fi video productions, as well as skills and experience in filming with Smart Devices/Phones to capture Lo-Fi content.  
  • Creatively come up with new, exciting concepts with the team.  
  • Work on storyboard and production of briefing documents.  
  • Previous experience of 2+ years.  
  • In-depth experience using professional software is a must such as Adobe post-production, Final Cut-Pro or Premier Pro and After Effects.  
  • Post-Production colouring experience.  
  • Understand various camera formats and how to work with raw footage.  
  • Flexible, pro-active and highly organised.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diplomatic and proactive approach.  
  • Able to deal with changing deadlines and priorities.  
  • Ability to craft films to be used in integrated storytelling across multiple digital channels.  
 Skills & Experience:
  • Experience as a videographer/editor in particular creative social / branded content with a commercial focus.  
  • Proficiency in using industry standard video editing software. 
  • Knowledge of producing videos for various device sizes.  
  • Proficiency in creating and incorporating motion graphics, nameplates, titles, and other visual enhancements to elevate the quality and engagement of video content.  
  • Ability to operate professional-grade camera equipment and accessories.  
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational, and physical ability to move and hold filming equipment, with the ability to self-quality control all assets.  
  • Experience with audio editing and an understanding of colour grading techniques. 
  • A passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging editing techniques.
