Global Retailer

A global retailer is recruiting a Regional Vice President of IT to partner with the global CIO and Regional CEO to lead all technology operations in North America, which accounts for around 70% of the business's global footprint.

The Regional VP, IT, will partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure that technology services enable the business to perform, and that the wider global IT strategy meets the needs of the North America business.

The role will inherit a team of 120+ across IT Service, Cloud, Data, InfoSec, Business Engagement and PMO.

We require a unique leader who truly integrates themselves with the business at all levels to understand the operations, whilst also driving innovation at a strategic level so that business stakeholders are aware of technology/digitally led opportunities in the industry and beyond.

Ideal Candidate

• A VP IT / CIO profile with proven experience leading a breadth of IT functions/capabilities to delivery a first-class IT Service whilst enabling a business's long-term strategic goals through technology.
• Experience successfully taking a business through a cloud-first technology journey.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills up to C-level. Capable of understanding business needs, translating them into technology strategy, and executing successfully.
• Experience leading a business through a legacy modernisation program, to best-in-class ERP / SAAS solutions would be hugely advantageous.
