Vehicle Damage Assessor - Chesterfield

Location: Chesterfield
Salary: Up to £35K

Working hours: 45 hours Monday to Friday. Saturday as required.

Vehicle Damage Assessor role:

  • Undertake inspection of many different marques of damaged vehicles
  • Assess the full extent of damaged vehicles and produce accurate estimates of cost and time frame for repair
  • Liaise with insurance companies to obtain correct approval for repair at costs estimated
  • Liaise with Bodyshop Technicians and Panel beaters to ensure they understand repair methodology so that cost estimates are fulfilled as accurately as possible.

Requirements, Vehicle Damage Assessor:

  • Utilise Audatex software to assess vehicle damage and calculate repair costings efficiently.
  • Liaise effectively with insurance engineers and customers to ensure clear communication and seamless resolution of issues.
  • Generate precise damage assessments in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 standards, adhering strictly to correct repair methods.
  • Strive for excellence in professionalism and accuracy throughout all stages of the estimation process.
