Shorterm group are currently working with a huge aviation manufacturing and production company who specialise in aircraft seating and interior galley inserts.

They are looking to take on a Upholstery manufacturing operative for their Upholstery workshop on site based near Southend on sea airport in Rochford.

Candidates must have previous experience working with Leather or fake leather, cloth, fabric or other materials.
Candidates must have experience working in an upholstery environment.
Candidates must have experience with small hand tools such as scissors, knives and glue.

In the role you will be cutting templates in materials for aircraft seat covers, applying glue to cloth and leather using spatulas, brushes and spray guns, use a selection of hand tools, dress sewn covers to assembly cushions.

Location: Southend-on-sea airport - Rochford.
shift: 39 hours weekly, 6am - 5pm flexitime (6am - 3pm, 7am - 4pm, 8am - 5pm)
Early Friday finish (half shift)
Pay: up to £12.66ph (£25,674 per annum)
Permanent full time position.
