Underwriting Manager - International Construction (CAR)

One of my partnered clients, a prestigious insurer renowned for its commitment to excellence, is currently recruiting for an Underwriting Manager to join their International CAR team. This role will involve working closely with the Head of Construction to help develop and deliver a strategic growth plan.

Base Salary: £150,000+ dependant on experience
Location: City of London
Hybrid: Yes

Ideally, you would be a credible underwriting professional with a wealth of knowledge in the Construction arena (specifically CAR) and the ambition to join a fantastic, high-flying brand.

As the Underwriting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, profitability, and strategic direction within the construction portfolio. Leveraging your expertise in underwriting and strong leadership skills, you will oversee a team of underwriters and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to optimize risk management and deliver exceptional service to clients.

For the right individual, this role will not only be rewarding but also fulfilling, with the opportunity to mentor and pass on your experience to less senior members of the team.

This role will allow the successful candidate to play a market-facing role, conducting engagement and interaction with producers and clients across the said markets.

If you feel this may be a good fit and are interested in hearing more, please get in touch for a confidential conversation.
