Underwriting Assistant - 18 month FTC

An excellent opening at this large and well established Lloyd's syndicate, within its reinsurance area. You will be situated within the marine excess of loss team and will provide underwriting support to the wider team of underwriters. This is a front line role offering Lloyd's exposure, dealing with broker enquiries and overseeing the day to day administration, which can be an extremely busy part of the role. This role would offer a secure contract for an experienced underwriting operations specialist who is looking for a new opportunity, or perhaps a second jobber who understands a bit about the London market and is looking for a great introduction to working in a Lloyd's underwriting team.

Really great opening in a fun, outgoing team, you would need to be organised, diligent and able to juggle priorities in a calm fashion. This role does not involve any underwriting exposure, it is all support focused but still offers a fantastic environment to learn and develop a strong knowledge of underwriting processing and administration.
