Due to the rapid expansion, our client is looking for a highly motivated Ultrasound Applications Specialist to join their team in Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sonographer looking to move into the commercial sector, or an Applications Specialist looking to take their career to a new level.

The role
Within this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team to provide clinical and technical support for our client’s customers. You’ll learn the technical and methodological requirements of the Ultrasound portfolio and use your expertise to provide product demonstrations at customer sites, hospitals, and conferences. Your specialist support will ensure all equipment is demonstrated to its best advantage.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this:

  • Managing all post-sales customer product and applications training
  • Ensuring that the latest information is available for users, including attending international meetings
  • Managing the customer feedback loop at all stages of the sales process
  • Supplying feedback to the management teams
  • Identifying and documenting all key influencers within your accounts
  • Regularly visiting customer sites to ensure satisfaction
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
  • Creating supporting documentation for products including formal applications reports


The requirements

You’ll have a background as a Sonographer.

They’re also looking for:

  • Degree level education
  • Ability to work on your own and manage your time effectively
  • Good customer service skills
  • A fast learner who is open-minded, independent, and well-organised
  • Someone with experience working within the commercial sector
  • A valid driver’s licence
