UK LINEHAUL SUPERVISOR

New position - We are recruiting for a UK Linehaul Supervisor within the operations team to oversee two members of staff the coordinators. You will be responsibility for maintaining relationships with carriers/GSAs, negotiating new rates with airlines.

Daily duties will include:

• Overseeing a team of 2 Coordinators, monitoring and checking performance
• Setting up new rates with airlines
• Negotiating new rates with airlines to make Linehaul more cost effective
• Collation and recording of post flight statistics
• Updating tender systems are compliant with current affairs
• Setting up new solutions with airlines for postal and commercial flows
• Updating customer rates
• Completing customs entries
• Key contact for carriers and GSA for Linehaul issues
• Building customer relationships
• Controlling airline allocation and advising warehouse team to maximise
• Monitoring KPI's

Key Skills:

• Previous knowledge of Mail / parcel / commercial industry
• Previous experience as a Team leader or supervisor
• Good communication skills verbally and in writing
• Problem solving

You MUST have previous experience and people management skills for this position
