UI/UX Designer

We are searching for a UI/UX Designer to join an innovative and forward-thinking provider of fleet and asset management software. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering user experience, whilst designing and developing new and existing products to add to our client’s portfolio.

You will liaise across a variety of departments across the business and users of the product, to clearly communicate the product base for accurate planning and prototype design. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for technology and will hold a natural ability to be creative and communicate with a variety of stakeholders.

Key Benefits:

• £30,000 - £40,000 pa, dependent on experience
• Hybrid - Occasional meetings in Tamworth office with some flexibility required.
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + 1 extra day each year (up to 35 days)

Key Skills and Experience:

• Ideally 3+ years’ experience in UI/UX Design.
• A UI Design Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX skills and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
• The ability to discuss and explain a variety of design options.
• Strong listening skills to understand the needs of the customer and subsequently incorporate this into the design process.
• An aptitude for using a logical, step-by-step process to ensure designs are user friendly and communicated well across different departments of the business.
• A strong understanding of design principles.
• The ability to use your own initiative and work under pressure to deadlines.

Desirable:

• A good understanding of Usability factors in computer Science.
• Knowledge of Balsamiq wireframing tool.
• Experience in and confidenceusing WinForms Applications.
