We are recruiting for a Treasury Finance Manager, that will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff to deliver high quality financial processes and support across the UK operatuins

This in an interim role for 3 months, but may extend up to 12 months.

The role will invole defining current processes, facilitate discussions and advise colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes, document those processes as they are agreed and oversee their delivery.

Key responsibilities will include;

* Senior management responsibility for cash drawdown process

* Senior management support to Head of Treasury in delivering monthly returns - including monthly daily cash profiles and annual cash forecast.

* Updating and maintaining group cash guidance, overseeing the development of in year and year end cash timetable.

* Senior management support to the Head of Treasury in production of the group and segmental statutory cashflow and associated working papers.

* Monthly monitoring and reporting of cash positions, to include production of monthly cash reports on cash management related matters.

* Senior management input into key cash and banking processes from a day to day management and development perspective.

* Contribute to the design of the banking and cash forecasting functionality

* Cross working between the cash management/ transactional and accounting areas to drive efficiencies and accounting intelligence, to include development of cash-related reconciliations for Dental and Pharmacy spend.

* Provide professional expertise to the outcome of the business processes for the Department or Directorate. Other tasks as required.

* Develop the acquisition, organisation, provision and use of knowledge and information.

* Highlight exceptions and risks ensuring mitigating action is taken.

* Drafting reports summarising status on issues, appraising outcomes, and providing progress reports for the Head of the Department.

* Collate as required, qualitative and quantitative information and lead appropriate analysis to develop robust business cases and contribute to delivery of products and service improvement.

* Analyse, interpret and present data to highlight issues, risks and support decision making. Research and Development

* Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information.

* Deliver projects to comply with key performance indicators, and best practice guidance.

* Co-ordinate Research & Development initiatives, delegating as appropriate. Planning and Organisation:

* Ensure projects, services and initiatives are delivered on time, to quality standards and in a cost effective manner, adjusting plans as required.

* Determine the strategic planning of Department or Directorate projects, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.

* Determine the development of performance and governance strategies and the development and implementation of improvement programmes

* Determine short, medium and long term business plans, achieving quality outcomes. Policy and Service Development:

* Proposes changes to own project/service and make recommendations for other projects/service delivery

This business have several locations across the UK, and can offer remote working options

Day rate is up to between £250 - £290 a day
