Transport Planner

Interaction Recruitment are urgently looking for Transport Planner to work out of busy depots in the Peterborough area . Please note most of our clients require at least two years experience.

· Experience working as a Transport Planner, within a fast-paced environment managing a medium-sized fleet. Working with various customers with differing requirements.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective Clients.

· A solid understanding of Transport Management Systems and Microsoft packages.

· Experience communicating with and monitoring drivers.

· Knowledge of tachograph regulations and driver hours

· Plan vehicle routes

Salary & Shift Pattern

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

35hour average working week - Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun. Week 2 - Wed, Thurs

Hours - 8am-6pm (some flexibility required - occasional 7am-5pm shifts may be required) - 10hours per day.

Panama Shift Pattern - 3s and 2s (every other Friday, Saturday & Sunday off)
