Role Overview:
We're seeking a proactive Training Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal and external training activities across all department. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, meeting training requirements, and managing our Clients' Apprenticeship programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive companywide training records and quality process documents.
• Collaborate with department heads to create detailed training records for employees and key activities.
• Manage the training budget and prioritise spending across departments.
• Identify training needs, develop training plans, and evaluate team members against skills matrices.
• Coordinate internal and external training programs to address competency gaps.
• Facilitate learning through various methods and present training programs effectively.
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage relationships with training providers.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage logistics for training activities and maintain in-house training facilities.
• Develop and coordinate the L&D Forum, ensure employees are engaged and involved with L&D initiatives

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role in Engineering or Manufacturing
• Knowledge of instructional and learning theory, training methodologies, and competency assessment.
• Understanding of the Apprenticeship framework.
