Sequence South, a prominent player in the Estate Agency industry, is delighted to offer a rare and exciting opportunity for a Trainee Auctioneer to join our Specialist Auctions Team. You will be working and training for two renowned brands, Fox & Sons and Allen & Harris, we are ever expanding our footprint in the property market and we are now seeking a dedicated professional to win Instructions and sell properties through our Auctions division.

A quick look at the role

As a trainee within our busy auction center, you will quickly learn the role benefiting from the many years of knowledge from our highly experienced team. Through your training you will earn as you learn developing your skills to become a sales negotiator and progress through the business to perhaps one day waving the auctioneers gavel yourself. You will immediately be joining colleagues at all our other auction centers every month at our exciting live venue auction in London and playing an important role yourself in the success of that day where typically over 300 properties get sold for total values of over £30 Million in one day! We are not necessarily looking for experience in the property industry (although applicants with some estate agency experience will be considered) your most important attribute will be an eagerness to learn and excel in one of the property industry’s fastest paced and exciting sectors.

Through Training we will develop you to achieve Key Responsibilities to include:
  • Instruct properties for Auction within Sequence South, Fox & Sons, and Allen & Harris
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing expert guidance/advice
  • Evaluating and assessing properties values to determine appropriate auction strategies.
  • Coordinate and execute property inspections, appraisals, and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the auction process from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and effective auction execution.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations to provide a top-notch service.


Skills and experience required to be a successful Trainee Auction Sales Negotiator:
  • Demonstrable desire to learn and develop in the property auction sector.
  • Immediately have good communication skills for us to develop with you.
  • Desire to learn how to build excellent client relationship skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideally already have Full Driving License or close to Achieving this
