Ticketing Executive
This specialist tour operator offer bespoke holidays across Africa, the Middle East & Indian Ocean. They pride themselves on their expert team and are now looking for a home based TicketingExecutive to join their small team. In this role you are responsible for everything related to flights, and ensuring best fares are sourced for all bookings. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong knowledge of scheduled flights, fares & ticketing to join this successful travel company. Salary of £27k to £30k & fully home based.

Ticketing Executive - Role & Responsibilities:

• Ticketing flights via consolidators.
• Support the sales team with booking flights as required.
• Searching for flights to obtain best fares.
• Flight amendments & cancellations.
• Checking flights against travel itinerary to ensure booked correctly.
• Checking up to date flight information against Amadeus.
• Managing ticketing mailbox and filing flight invoices as appropriate.
• Updating the content management system with schedule changes and notifying clients.
• Occasional assistance with answering overflow calls, transferring, and taking messages for other departments.

Ticketing Executive - Skills & Experience Required:

• Good knowledge of schedule flights to include class codes and fare rules.
• Geographical knowledge of Africa (desirable).
• Experience of ticketing flights is preferred.
• Extensive travel industry experience.
• Analytical & commercially focused.
• Experience with Aviate, Lime & Amadeus would be beneficial.
• Experience working with travel content management systems.

Ticketing Executive - Additional Information:

• Salary £27k to £30k dependent on experience.
• Fully home based.
• Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 (flexible hours if needed).
