Third Party Claims Handler

Harvey McQueen are extremely pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Third Party Claims Handler, to join their fast growing organisation. This exciting opportunity would be perfect for someone who already has a minimum six months experience of working in Personal Injury Claims. The position is available for an immediate start for the right candidate.

Package

  • Salary £24k is negotiable depending on experience.
  • Mon-Fri, 9-5pm, flexible working patterns
  • Position is available for an immediate start
  • Office based
  • Holidays starting at 21 days

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The role will involve all aspects of Third-Party Vehicle Damage and Property Damage Claims
  • Effectively prioritise own claims portfolio and team responsibilities
  • Liaise with different departments to establish liability, including your own investigations
  • To handle complex files such as Liability and High Value cases
  • Liaise with Solicitors, Insurers and accident management companies
  • Identify and refer fraudulent activity
  • Deliver a consistently outstanding level of service to all parties involved

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of working in Motor Claims and/or insurance background
  • GCSE passes at Grade C or above (or equivalent e.g. NVQ Level 2) to include English and Maths.
  • CII Certificate of Insurance or willing to work towards ( supported by the Company )
  • PC Literate - for example experience of MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills
  • An active listener, able to build relations
  • Display great attention to detail
