Do you believe in giving all students a chance? Want to be part of a process and a team that finds solutions to students in need?

Our Special Considerations team believes so; they work with schools and candidates to ensure that students who cannot take standard examinations, have the chance to make adjustments to allow them to achieve or provide alternative evidence in order to they get the grade they deserve at the end of their studies.

You'll be supporting a small and dedicated team, with their day to day requirements; including centre applications, marking, grading, issue of results and post-results services and therefore crosses over several teams in Operations. The process requires significant manual input i.e. evaluating evidence and discussing options about sensitive, personal individual circumstances.

You'll be working with highly sensitive, often difficult and possibly upsetting, information about students circumstances; so we need you to have strong empathy and good customer service skills. As well as strong administrative and organisational skills to ensure the end to end process is completed correctly.

This is a truly rewarding role and we would welcome an application from dedicated, compassionate administrators.

Hourly rate: £13.10 - £13.51 depending on experience.

Start dates: 13/05/2024

End date: 27/09/2024

Hours: 35 hours a week; Monday to Friday (some weekend/evening work may be required depending on business needs)

Location: Hybrid, with a couple of days based in our Guildford Offices (on the University of Surrey campus)

Reference: 52445528
