Tekla Draftsman

Tekla Draughtsman - Required to join a specialist steel specialist in Doncaster. My client works on within the retail sector across the UK and have offices wider into Europe and the rest of the world. They have an experienced team of Structural Engineers, Architects and Technicians to create high quality plans and drawings of their projects.

The successful Tekla Draughtsman will have a HNC in Civil or Structural Engineering with 2 years of experience working as a Tekla Technician within Structural Steel experience or be a very well established Tekla Draughtsman. Knowledge and experience working on Steel Structures is a key part of the role. Proficiency in Tekla is essential also experience in the use of Masterseries and AutoCAD is advantageous.

Tekla DraughtsmanPosition Overview

• Completing projects in a timely manner
• Working closely with Structural Engineers
• Preparing detailed structural Steelwork droughts
• Attend design meetings
• Working with relevant teams within the company to ensure successful bidding, planning, design and execution of projects.

Tekla Draughtsman Position Requirements

• HNC in civil or structural engineering advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years' experience
• Tekla proficiency
• Steelwork design experience would be beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Live near to Doncaster
