TECHNICAL SEO SPECIALIST

Our client is a busy full-service digital marketing agency (with a difference) who work with a wide range of clients across multiple industries. They are continually recognised at awards for their work, and they have a positive team environment.

This role would be perfect for an experienced SEO Specialist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an agency environment and are looking for the next step in their career, or you may already be doing a similar role, and you are looking for an exciting new challenge. WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW:

  • Please note that due to our client’s location you must be able to drive and have access to your own car to be considered for the role.
  • Salary is dependent on experience, in the region of £30k to £40k.
  • Monday to Friday working hours.
  • Hybrid working

A SNAPSHOT OF THE TECHNICAL SEO SPECIALIST’S DAY:

  • Carry out regular technical site audits to define SEO strategies.
  • Providing key insight to the wider team.
  • Working closely Developers on website launches and migrations.
  • Communicating technical best practices to the team, and support with internal training.
  • Reporting back to stakeholders making recommendations for improvements and explaining the thought process behind these.
  • Reviewing and analysing technical and on-page SEO issues and execute fixes.
  • Ensuring all strategies are executed to a high standard and delivered on time.
  • Communicating any potential issues to the wider team.
  • Daily use of the following platforms: Google Search Console Google Analytics, Semrush, AHREFS, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Sitebulb and others.

  • Previous professional experience (2 years minimum) in a technical SEO role ideally within an agency environment, or an in-house role working across different brands / companies.
  • Being a champion for technical SEO best practices.
  • An understanding of basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • An understanding of CMS platforms, such as Magento, Shopify, WordPress.
  • The desire to continually keep learning and personally developing.
