Technical Sales Engineer required. Our client is an industrial coating company that has over 25 years of experience on a world-wide basis. They are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will sell the services and products for vacuum sensing and vacuum leak checking systems through the development of technical marketing information, direct sales visits, promotion at conference / exhibitions and e-mail marketing/commerce.

Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview
  • Support the development of the commercial activities around the world to increase market share, turnover and profitability
  • Identify new markets and product opportunities
  • Assist in Company-wide strategic business and process improvement
  • Visiting customers and presenting product information
  • Attending overseas exhibitions to present products
  • Production of marketing information and distribution of such
  • Issue customer quotations
  • Answering customers queries
  • Oversee the development of print advertising, e-mail advertising technology and Newsletters
  • Oversee the continued development of the Company website as a show case for products and technologies
  • Development of e-commerce options
  • Development of other forms of product information in collaboration with the MD and sales team, such as brochures and newsletters
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of technical information such as instruction manuals, distributor price lists and price calculation tools, and other technical supporting information.
  • Ensure that these are translated as required
Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements
  • Technical / Scientific/ Engineering background from work experience or education
  • Ability to travel abroad
  • Proven track record in technical sales in vacuum industry advantageous
  • Knowledge of vacuum market and gas analysis methods in vacuum advantageous
Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £35,000- £45,000
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours
  • Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH + ability to purchase holiday
