Join an award-winning IT solutions company as a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer and support a UK and European sales team. You'll be able to work with a diverse and friendly team, where everyone's contribution is valued.

This is a hybrid role, commuting to Worthing a few times a month.

THE JOB:
- As a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, you'll be crucial in working with the Sales team to close opportunities. Your expertise as a subject matter expert for technical products across the business will be instrumental in our success.
- In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to stay updated with the latest developments across the industry and the product portfolio. This will ensure solutions are always at the forefront of industry trends and standards.
- Sales-oriented approach to engagements; effectively describe and demonstrate opportunities to upsell products suited to customer needs.
- Hold pre-sales product demonstrations and scoping calls with customers, identifying technical points
- Create technical proposals/contribute technical content where required.
- Deliver SolarWinds training for customers and internal teams as appropriate and deliver this or offsite as required.
- Host webinars and write blog posts on various topics within the solution portfolio.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working as a pre-sales engineer, a solutions consultant, a technical account manager or similar.
- Knowledge of SolarWinds Orion, or similar monitoring tools.

- Confident and comfortable at delivering pre-sales activities such as customer meetings and delivering product and solution demonstrations at various stakeholder levels within an organisation.
- Able to create highly complex technical documentation.
- Positive, flexible, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility to ensure the highest standards are met throughout the business.
- High degree of technical knowledge across a wide range of platforms.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £40,000 basic
- Commission circa £24,000 taking OTE to £64,000
- 25 days holiday (increasing to 30 with service) + public holidays
