Our client is a successful South London-based HVAC company that supplies and specialises in high-end and critical HVAC solutions - Chillers, Compressors, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Air Handling Units, Comfort Cooling, FCUs, ASHPs, WSHPs and many other energy-efficient HVAC solutions and services.

They support this with a dedicated and experienced team of mobile engineers, office support staff, technical support and project managers providing service, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment in the field.

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented, confident, inquisitive, committed Technical Manager to join this growing business to be based at their South London facility.

This opportunity would suit an up-and-coming individual with reasonable knowledge of the HVAC industry and parts procurement/identification processes and prepared to put in the necessary work to develop robust systems from the ground up.

The position is office-based in SW19 and would suit someone living within the easy public transport range of the building. Some WFH and site attendance opportunities may arise, but these would not be a consideration from the outset.

Job dimensions

Our client is seeking a Technical Manager to work within this team to:

  • Provide technical support to the sales and engineering teams
  • Ensure all further work quotes are logged, generated promptly, submitted to the client and followed up.
  • Identify and purchase parts and materials for ordered further works quotes ensuring the best pricing/availability criteria are met.
  • Assist clients with spare parts identification and procurement, including generating Critical Parts Lists against which clients can purchase spares.

The position reports directly to the Projects & Service Director

Salary & Benefits Highly Competitive Salary Package (Up To £45,000 - Larger Salary Available D.O.E) + Full Benefits

Location: Wimbledon, South London (Fixed Position)
