Technical Author (Aviation) - Cardiff - 6-12 month contract.

Are you a skilled Technical Author with a passion for aviation? Our client, a reputable aviation company based in Cardiff, is seeking a Technical Author to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting work package creation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services to the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables

Collect, research, and analyse source data to develop technical user guides

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and useful technical publications

Utilize industry-leading software, including SAP, to create work cards and maintain aircraft libraries for B777 /B787 modification programme.

Conduct quality reviews and validation of technical publications

Embrace and contribute to departmental and company improvement strategies

Requirements:

Experience working within a Part 145 Organisation

Aviation-related degree coupled with 2 years of working experience in the aviation sector

Aircraft modification and repair exposure is desirable
